Paul is a retired CPA having worked for over 35 years in the financial services sector as a professional accountant. His experience entails 15+ years in the construction and waste management industry as a Controller responsible for financial reporting and control, auditing and budgeting. For the last 20+ years prior to retirement, Paul was the CFO for a large charitable religious organization, the Diocese of Huron, responsible for a $4 million operating budget, its financial operational reporting and audit control, pension administration and the financial amalgamation of over 160 churches within its structure. During his financial career, Paul has served on several audit and pension committees within the charitable services sector. In the past, he has volunteered for and continues to serve as a Treasurer for several charitable and service organizations as part of his professional development and volunteer services commitment. He has been a competitive baseball umpire for over 20 years and enjoys his family time, golf and all major sports.
